I received my MFA in Photography from Yale University School of Art in 1987. I was principal university photographer at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 1987-2002 where I made photographs for University publications and national media, including National Geographic, The New York Times, Time magazine, and other publications around the world. I live in Asheville,NC now with my wife Jennifer, and two kids. I am finishing a book project about Hickory Nut Gap Farm, and recently have been photographing in the coal country of the southern Appalachians. I also like to photograph Asheville's urban landscapes and neighborhoods. Please see my portfolios. |
