Hickory Nut Gap Farm limited edition portfolio
Twelve archival prints from the Hickory Nut Gap Farm project are available in hand made 4 ply rag mats, enclosed in a hand made portfolio box, with a letterpress essay by the photographer. Limited edition of 25 only will be made. Proceeds from the sale of these portfolios will directly benefit Hickory Nut Gap Farm (10%), Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy (10%), and the publication of the book, "Useful Work, The Legacy of Hickory Nut Gap Farm." Portfolio price is $2,500.00. This portfolio is currently in the collections of Western Carolina University's Fine Art Museum (where it was exhibited from June 3-28, 2008); Mars Hill College's Liston B. Ramsey Center for Regional Studies; The Center for the Study of the American South, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and the private collections of Mary Duke Biddle Semans Trent, and the Clarke family. The image of the silver pitcher is currently part of the exhibit, "The Printed Picture," at the Museum of Modern Art, in NYC (till July 13, 2009.)
