Lots of road trips this year. I drove from Asheville, NC to Sarasota, Florida and then to Colorado, along the Gulf Coast to New Orleans, where I spent a couple nights. I photographed trains and track between there and Baton Rouge, during the days. From there on to Colorado on a diagonal through Shreveport and Amarillo, to Trinidad. Houses, roads, trucks, cars, wires - the built landscape in the wide, natural space; The human landscape, from about 20' higher than you're used to.
